algorithmic modeling for Rhino

guys, i have recently started using a macbook pro retina with the nvidia geFroce GT 750M, and with Win7 OS, and have noticed that the GH display for surfaces is not working correctly.

if you can see the screen grab, it displays any basic surfaces incorrectly (a simple circle is showing as an odd shaped block).

it doesn't matter what the shape is, it wont display the surface correctly.

i have all the latest versions of rhino and GH, and all the necessary bootcamp drivers etc, and have never experienced this problem before on other machines.

has anyone else had this problem, and is there a fix?

thanks

A

You meant the mesh is drawn weird but the curves look fine?

If so, you're probably incredibly far away from the world origin point. Meshes in Rhino are normally single-precision geometry, while nurbs geometry is double-precision. This means that meshes start to suffer from accuracy problems much earlier than nurbs.

If your geometry is indeed nowhere near the 0,0,0 point, consider moving it there.
