GETTING GRASSHOPPER CONNECTED TO EXCEL

Hello Guys,

Can any one help in how to connect grasshopper to excel , I've downloaded the required file but couldn't find the plug in grasshopper ?

i think your illustration is awsome ,and problem i have is in installing the gHowl_r50 for 0.8.x ,because of those appdata are not found in my system,and i'm trying to fix the problem since you sent me this message and i remain . let me sort it out and i will inform you ,thanks dear ,, really thanks :)))))

Ah. Have you set or are you able to set the folder options so that you can see hidden files?

Having said that. If you drag the extracted file of gHowl_r50.gha onto the Grasshopper canvas it should save it in the correct location.

The only thing wrong with that is the file gha extension has been associated with Rhino so if you double click on it Rhino will try to open it. That in itself is not an issue as it is in the correct location for Grasshopper to load it. When you run Grasshopper do you have a gHowl Tab?

I just saw this thread and am amazed at your patience!

Yahya, are you still having issues? Danny has outlined the steps to get this to work very clearly.

Your screenshot shows that gHowl is properly installed. Did you run the OpenXML installer as Danny mentioned? If you did then you should be able to use the spreadsheet components as outlined by Danny.
