GAUSSIAN CURVATURE / DEVELOPABLE & UNDEVELOPABLE SURFACES

Hello Grasshopper Users,

I am a bit confused about Gaussian Curvature analysis of Rhino.

1) when I analyse the G.C. around a point from rhino the results are different. What can be the reason?

2) The results are different in MAXIMUM VALUE and AUTORANGE option. Which one shoud I consider?

3) If I re-analyse, selecting more objects, some items are displayed as green -HOWEVER in previous analysis they were different than green. So, how should I interprete the color graph.

4) By grasshopper is there any alternative way something like

"this surface is developable, this surface is not ...."

5) In some analysis, curvature is very close but not equal to zero. What does it mean? around what value I can consider it developable?

6) Any useful information you guys want to add...

Cheers
