Galapagos wish list.. activate with boolean toggle?

Has anyone figured a work around to activate galapagos externally with boolean toggle or a timer.. I am working on a project that is explores a automization of the process and this would be a fantastic help.

Galapagos sits outside of the grasshopper network. It adjusts and runs the solutions while hovering above them. So control Galapagos from within the network would be a logical impossibility.

Is it possible to slow down the Galapagos iteration? I'm trying to allow a Kangaroo simulation to run, and I need to give it a second or two to stabilize and come to a solution before Galapafos records te fitness...

Once the solution is calculated, galapagos will run the next generation. There is no way to delay the execution of the next generation.

You can adjust Kangaroo's internal iterations per time slice. This parameter is limited to a maximum of a few hundred steps though and does not quarantee the system to have fully settled.
