generative modeling for Rhino
I would like to increase the speed of shape creation trough grasshopper.
But as I am pretty unexperienced I would need some help.
What I want to achieve:
roof structure that refers to NURB surface.
I would like that grasshopper creates my surfaces in reference to my main surfaces; my bubbles: layer (upper intersection surface) and (lower intersection surface).
HOW I CREATED THE ROOF:
I intersected the surfaces form the layer (intersection static lower) with the bubble from layer (lower intersection surface).
I did the same thing with layer (intersection static upper) and (upper intersection surface).
i used the curves created in step one to span surfaces between every second one; that the roof always goes up and down. zig zag.
i trimed the lower bubble with the outer lines of the wave structure and used the pringles thing to cap the roof from the inside. that the edgy structure is only visible from the outside.
What i would like to get:
It would be great if it would be possible to change the whole roof by simply changing the shape of the upper and the lower bubble. (upper and lower intersection surface).
It would be also nice if i could adapt the movement of each stripe individually after the first generation of the roof. That I could rotate the surface stripes at the steep side of the cliff from a parralel orientation towards the cliff to a normal one.
Or that i have a referance plane // surface with which i could control the rotation of each stripe individually in connection to the location.
That part isn't shown on the photos. But it would be great to be able or influence that as well.
