Failing to create solid brep

Hello,

I am trying to calculate the volume for the brep generated in my definition. I was able to join surfaces and cap holes, but it still leaves me with an open brep, from which I am unable to use a volume component. I am stumped.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Or is my logic screwed up to begin with?

If you bake it you will see cap is only giving you the bottom closure not the top. Cap is not sufficient enough to find the enclosure of those curves. I suggest lofting or sweeping that top, then joining that as well.

Thanks! I didn't even realize it was doing that! I just lofted the two top curves, like you said, and added the surface to the join. Closed brep achieved.
