Thanks very much for the solution. I got to a similar solution using your awesome Geometry Gym tools. It saved me a lots of headaches.
The Kangaroo tip was also very usefull.
Here I post the definition.
Cheers,
Fernando

Thanks very much for the help again!

Do you know how can I control the orient to surface normal profile. Because I'm trying to connect the surface which I want the profile to be perpendicular to, to the input "O" and it is perpendicular when it is paralell to xy plane but no when it gets vertical.

Fernando

Can you post (or email a file) that demonstrates this please?
Thanks,
Jon
Hi Jon:
Excuse me for the delay. Here are the files that I had problems with. I finally resolved it with a sweep by two rails with regular GH components.

nice to meet u here again. I am following ur advise to make some experiment. The GH file u made dosent work quite well in my grasshopper...when I open it, it appears some erros about C# Scripting.
I use Grasshopper 0.8.0007. Just fyi.
By the way, you say u still have to activate the surface normal in oder to orient the menbers to the surface. But I couldnt find out which command u use between explode and sdrsweep?
Permalink Reply by Jon Mirtschin on April 4, 2011 at 8:25am can you describe (printscreen image is good) the errors you see? The version you have installed is compatible with latest grasshopper.
I'll check Breps shortly to check they work (and not just surfaces).
Thanks,
Jon
Permalink Reply by Jon Mirtschin on April 4, 2011 at 4:23pm Hi Frank, I went through your post again this morning, and I see what you mean about the errors. Grasshopper has had substantial changes since this definition was created, I'll try installing the older version shortly and reposting an updated file that works.
Cheers,
Jon
