1.This image is with the original attractor (repeller) before inverting.
2. Here is the image using remap logic and component, it exactly inverts the original attraction list, which is clear by the image and accurate to the distance logic.
3. Here is the way as you suggest dividing the slider value by the distance list, This inverts the numbers but not proportional to the input list, It also does not maintain its nice gradient.

You can do the calculation of what Remap does with native GH math components.
You could use the GraphMapper to apply an inverted function, mapping large input to small output and small input to large out.
