algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Evaluate point distance and cull

I'm trying to divide a surface with points, and then cull any points that are closer than a certain distance - I feel I'm close - but can't quite figure it out; attached file. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Michael

Closer than a certain distance from each other?

If so you could use the [Cull Duplicates component] with a slider for tolerance (and right-click on it and select "leave one"):
