generative modeling for Rhino

epitrochoid curve creation?

Hi... total newb here...  I would like to know if there is a way to create a curve for an epitrochoid housing (such as the housing used in a rotary motor).  X and Y coordinates are based on the following formulas:

x= e cos⁡ 3 α + R cos ⁡α


y= e sin⁡ 3 α + R sin ⁡α

where:

e = eccentricity

R = Radius

α = angle from 0 to 360
