Divide surface distance panelling tools crashing

Hi, this is my first post in this page. I am having problems with the divide surface distance component from panelling tools. I have been looking for this component so long and now that I have it, is crashing. I am really upset and is stopping my studio work finishing in two weeks. Please can someone give me an answer to this problem. Thanks.
