generative modeling for Rhino

Display text as geometry question

Greetings fellow GH'ers.  I am analyzing the distance between two surfaces and have created colored spheres as an output to indicate where the surfaces are <8" apart.  What I am wondering is how can I display the actual numerical values for the delta instead of spherical objects - ideally they could also be color coded as well.
