Diagrid

Hi, 

I am new to grasshopper and I wanting to script a diagrid from scratch. I am having trouble with the way the lines/ points are being read. Any suggestions how I can make the lines not link between the first and last point. Refer to images and script attached. 

Otherwise any alternative suggestions on an easier way to achieve a diagrid on a chamfered surface?
