It would be helpfule to introduce some kind of consistentensie how components handle data.
crafting a null item will generate a new null item;
others like mass addition will convert it into a plain 0.0;
Shatter will change the path indices of successfuly shattered lines different the with null items.
transforming a empoty list will produce a null item
crafting a datatree with empty lists will erase the list with the path
