e attached file for your help. I have got some problem of establishing the same data structure. To explain what I have done briefly, I started with dividing surface and got the point grid. Then extract some points and move z direction. After that, I was trying to weave them to get the initial data structure. I think I should do replace branch or weaving trees and retrieve the list of data but I don't know how to do that. Can anyone advise me on that or quickly have a look at the def that I attached.

Permalink Reply by David Stasiuk on September 19, 2012 at 7:10am Generally speaking, I find that using the split tree is better than tree branch if I want to merge the two streams back together again at some point. So I switched up your order a bit...first split out the branches you want, then divide the selected branches according to which points you want elevated...then weave the altered points back in with the unaltered...then merge your tree back together.
