curve through one or two points

does anyone address the build of a curve througth two points?

in maths is a simple equations system, but here in grasshopper .....

is a numerical problem? : to build as much parables ( as an example) as it is possible and choose the closest to the points with a defined threshold .... ( how to do it?.  c#?)

is a definition problem ( any suggest to address?).
