algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Cull Pattern

Hi 

I have this pattern and would like to cull hexagonal elements in a gradual and random movement towards the top right corner.

I have tried 2 cull options grouped in blue, neither of which are working...

Can anyone assist? Perhaps I'm going about this the wrong way...
