generative modeling for Rhino

convert guid to curve in python

Dear all,

I came across one problem while trying to add list of curves to DataTree in python.

The error showed up as the curves are expected to be added to the DataTree,

instead of Guid.

And btw, what are the methods of conversion from guid to other geometries, in concern of encountering the same issue in the future.

Could anyone kindly help me sort out this problem?

Please find the attach gh file and rhino file.

P.S the definition is written in gh 0.8.0066

Hi,

you usually can use the rs.coerceXXX() function for accessing the object linked by an id.
There are many tricks of this kind here.
