Collaborative or Distributed Scripting, anyone?

Has anyone have any experience of collaborative or distributive scripting?

Grasshopper + GC has a reputation for being very dependent on lone 'scripters' that the wider team is very dependent on.

I am wondering if there is anyone out there who have built up code libraries that are (re)used in house for large projects, for example.

Does anyone try to streamline data types? For example facade panels will come up again and again. It would be useful to use the same naming convention and minimum requirements or structure.... that may even be cascaded down object families?

If scriptlets are to be reused, then the input and output parameters should conform to some common convention in the office?
