Changing visibility of components in menu

Hi David and all,

Is there a way to dynamically change the visibility of components in the Grasshopper tabs after the plugin is loaded?

I'd like to show/hide some components based on user interaction with a parameter component context menu.  I can change the specific components GH_Exposure property, but can I call GH to refresh it's icon menus?

If this isn't explained clearly, I'll try again.
