Centre rectangle on divided line

Hello all

I am doing some pretty basic stuff here, l got a line which is divided and I have attached some rectangles to the division points, much like I guess you would use to make a tower with the floors, its just my rectangles, the corner of the rectangle is attached to my division point on the curve how do i MAKE THE CENTRE OF THE RECTANGLE SNAP TO MY DIVISION POINT?

If anyone could shed some light on this, it would be amazing

Let me show you another option. Very similar to Michael's.

Perhaps more useful introducing sides lenght directly.
