generative modeling for Rhino
Hi,
I heard you guys are helpful.
does anyone know how to do this
im a masters student in London studying architecture, I was wondering how i would go about modeling sound in rhino using grasshopper with firefly or ghowl, i read on a post that someone used firefly but i am a beginner.
I need to find a way to capture sound waves and create drawings
I have done a few small things on gh but need a lot of help like an example.
Please let me know if you can help me

Have a look at the Audio Tools within the new Firefly:
http://fireflyexperiments.com/resources/
There is the Frequency Spectrum tool:
The Note to Frequency tool
The Sound Capture tool
The Tone Generator tool
Download the plugin, try the tool with some help from the manual and example files and ask all your questions in the Firefly group.
best,
Arthur

Permalink Reply by Andy Payne on October 6, 2012 at 4:40pm Are you using Rhino 5.0 64-bit? If so, the components wont work because they rely on the C_Sawapan_media.dll which is only compiled for 32-bit applications. Try using either Rhino 4.0 or Rhino 5.0 32-bit version. We're working on correcting this issue.
Thanks,
Andy
