generative modeling for Rhino
I'm new to Grasshopper. I want to do some testing using Grasshopper model. Could you kindly share a model with me or point me to somewhere can find such models. Thanks in advance.

What Grasshopper does is it "sits" above Rhino and shows you what your model would look like in Rhino. You then Bake it into Rhino when everything is how you want it to be and then have a regular Rhino model which is no longer 'parametric'.
Permalink Reply by Andrew on April 30, 2012 at 9:18am I see. Final model will be a regular model with no difference to Rhino model created by Rhino commands. That also means it can be displayed and edited correctly even without Grasshopper installed on other machines.
Permalink Reply by Danny Boyes on April 30, 2012 at 9:21am Correct. A Baked model is normal Rhino geometry that no longer requires Grasshopper to influence its existence. This would normally be saved as a 3dm but could just as easily be exported in one of the other formats.
EDIT: Grasshopper is the new name to the original plug-in called Explicit History. The idea was to have more control over the Implicit History commands that came along in Rhino 4
