generative modeling for Rhino

Branch extraction

Hi,

I am trying to extract branches from a tree and consolidate them. I came up with a way, but I am sure there is a better way.  Can someone show me the way?

Mask inputs are as follows;

{0;*}

{1;*}

{2;*}

{3;*}

this works for few branches, but with many..

Can't you use a Path Mapper for this? Something like

{A;B} -> {A}

Also try the "shift paths" component with the default offset of -1.

Ah.. So simple.

Got it to work.   Pathmapper route worked also, but frankly I don't fully understand why.
