algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

Can anyone suggest a method of blending between mesh shapes that have a different number of points?

The specific project I am working on involves morphing a cube/voxel into some weird blob shape.


I am thinking that I may need to work backwards, where I have the final shape, so I have the number of points already.  Then build a mesh box with that point count, the only issue is how do I resolve the problem of the order of the points not matching up.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
