generative modeling for Rhino
This particulary is question to David, but maybe someone will know the answer.
Would it be possible to "bind" gh file with rhino file ? I would like to :
1. open rhino, launch gh
2. open file in gh
3. rhino reacts with opening the "binded" file
4. when I save the gh file, rhino saves "binded" file
5. when I switch between two files in gh (ctrl + tab), rhino opens file which is "binded" to actual gh def.
I know that there is so much effort to get data internalization, but "binding" two files together would be IMO more user-friendly.. and maybe easier to code ?
Whats more - I can imagine this as component, not as option in file menu. Youll bind two files by adding a component to gh, "unbind" by erasing it.

Permalink Reply by Andrew Heumann on April 7, 2012 at 6:57pm I would swear someone posted a script or custom gha a while back that could at least associate a GHX file with a specific rhino file. But I've searched all over for it and no luck, so it's possible I hallucinated it.

I think also Damien Alomar developed a plugin that did the exact oposite (bind a GH definition to a rhino file).
Permalink Reply by Vicente Soler on April 7, 2012 at 8:25pm I found it.
Here's is Damien Alomar's plugin thread:

It contains a link to a thread in the Rhino newsgroup where I posted what you are looking for.
