Baking text in Rhino

Hello,

I am having problems baking texttags in the latest build - does anyone have an idea? The polylines i want to put a tag on are to be nested with Rhinonest, so i need the numbers baked, so they follow the nested objects.

Hi Jacob,

these are 2D text tags right? They should be baked as Rhino TextDots. Do they not bake at all?
I tested baking just now with both 2D and 3D text tags, and both seem to work. But it may well be a problem with specific tags.

Can you post a file that refuses to bake?

I will upload the grasshopper file where it does not work, and the rhinofile with the surfaces refered to.
The text tag is in the far right of the canvas.

I found one Tag component in that document, and it seems to bake fine. Is this the one that is failing?

Hi David
I found out that the text doesn´t bake if i rightclick the tag component and then choose bake. However, if i choose bake from the menubar - it works perfectly fine:)
Thank you for your help!
Btw. - Is it someway possible to link the textdots to a list of polylines? This is to be used with RhinoNest, where it is practical.

so is there an error message that complains about something when you try and bake via the menu?

I don't know what sort of 'link' is required for RhinoNest. Is it grouping? Blocking? Layering? Colouring?

No, there are no error messages.

RhinoNest requires grouping, which i now do manually one by one for each object and textdot. I just wondered if there was a smart way to do it in Grasshopper. But since there are no outputs from the tag-component, i guess it is to be done manually in Rhino.
