Bake Color - Gradient

Hey Guys. I have been sifting through all the previous posts on how to bake color, specifically a gradient over multiple poly surfaces. It seems that with the new release of 0.7 neither Mode's bake attributes component or Giulio's tools will work. I am getting null values for any type of input geometry.

Any help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bake Breps w Color
I messed around with the codes on this page and was successful.
I did it fast and just needed the breps to have color...

Sorry for the delayed response. Thanks for the help. Both definitions worked well. In the end I had the best luck with Baking the Breps w/ color in the grasshopper definition then using a small piece of rhinoscript to convert the object color to material color. Not an ideal workflow, but a work around none the less. Cheers.

I was just looking up how to also set the material color within this bake color gh script. Can you post the rhinoscript code you used? It would be a great help to me.

to fix for newest release 8.0002 just change all the code which says Rhino.DocObjects.LayerInfo to Rhino.DocObjects.Layer. It's in 3 or 4 lines.

Really nice community work people!

here a version with added back support for Materials (document materials by name, Gh colors and Gh materials) and wires.
One thing that is still missing is lineWeight... well, one thing at the time. :)

Hey Giulio,

I am trying use the bakeMostAttributes-802.ghx but can't seem to get it to bake anything. I have the attribute set to true but nothing bakes from the component. Is there something I am doing wrong? Thanks
