generative modeling for Rhino
Hello, I'm looking for any script or any way to deform smooth surface to the one like that I've attached-contour expression.
Or wondering this attached model generated by fundamentally different way.
Always many thanks for your time~!! :)

Hi lee,
you can intersect a shape with a collection of planes, then extrude the intersection contours by the distances between planes, that should give you a similar result (see attached).

I have a question, I have a topographic map with contour curves, created with the ELK plugin for GH but they are not closed. Is there a way to close them and use your definition which you posted above? You know like closed curves to the outer boundaries. Doing a layered topographic map. I attached an example terrain.
Thanks for any hints and help,
Sebastian

But maybe it is helping you. use mine 3dm
