Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Few days ago I also found stange behaviour regarding curve offset.

A rectangle is offset correctly to the inside in the first part of the def.

When I copy the entire def to create a different instance, the offset is flipped, and partly doesn't work at all. (flipping the direction doesn't solve the problem.)

That's akward: the circumstances are exactly the same, right?

Any thoughts on this? Bug? Spooky gimball lock?

Pim.

PS I worked around it creating a new rectangle inside.

Hi Pim,

I'm sure there's multiple bugs in the Offset logic, but I just found (and hopefully) fixed one that would explain the inconsistent offset direction. Let's see how this all behaves when the next release goes out.
