algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

Is it still the case that the AMoments component gives area properties for each input and cannot output combined properties of multiple regions like Rhino's AreaMoments command allows?

The last time I used this component it was necessary to tie the individual surfaces together with very narrow surface connectors to get combined properties, which is kind of a kludge.

Thanks,

Eric

I/x' = I/x + A * dist(x,x')²

That seems very elegant.  However I'm getting different answers for Ix (around centroid) from the same curves using the Rhino AreaMoments command than from your definition.  Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

my bad! connect the Y to the square input instead of X!
Christiaan Huygens is proud that you find his theorem elegant - indeed it is ;)

Nice!
