3d Printed concentric spheres

I am working on a project that needs me to make 2 concentric spheres that are going to be 3d printed. They have to have some cutwork pattern on them so that they intersect and make shadows. How to make the pattern cutwork in Gh? I have used the parametric truss method to map a pattern on the uv of the sphere geometry but that did not work. Looking for a suggestions on how to do this.
