Hello, I am new to Grasshopper and am trying to create an algorithm in which I have two rectangular grids are interwoven, so every other row is shifted 90 degrees. Is it possible to create these two grids in the same formula? Or do I need one formula for rows 1, 3,5, 7 etc, and another for rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc? Then, I am trying to popular the grid with boxes whose orientation follows the grid direction. I am attaching the rhino file and grasshopper file. Thanks!

Hello everyone,

I'm quite new to Grasshopper and I'm trying to perform a point in time simulation on two simple building rooms.

I'm applying the same algorithm to two rooms that are geometrically equal. When I perform the calculation on an analysis grid comprehensive of the two rooms (global) everything works, but when I split the grid, the calculation is done only in one room (522) and in the other (521) I have as a result null values.
Hello,

I am currently working on a huge façade that will be realised by laser-cutting some metal panels, quite traditional up to here.

I saw this image on pinterest and I would love to create a script to realize something similar, starting from a jpeg image or attractors maybe...

I have actually no idea how I can distor a grid of points (or any other figure) to give this threedimensional idea!

Someone has any tip?

Thank you a lot

I'm having to tile the 15th pentagonal grid in rectangles. I need some of the nodes in the grid to share an Index once they are tessellated, but i also want the indexing overall to read with some order from left to right, and from bottom to top in each column. How might i go about arraying the tiles so that the nodes Id's are shared for some?

Hello everybody,

In this definition I tried to use a curve that runs around the cylindrical grid as an attractor, in order to move the points nearby along the normal vector, with a variable magnitude, linked to the curve proximity.

I am not satisfied by the result: on the upper end of the grid, the points are displaced higher than it in z direction, while I was expecting movements only along normals of the surface
